To dave (my dad), not enough words can explain how much I'm gonna miss you. Can't believe I am having to write this , lifes not fair. I can remember when you and my mum got together, straight away I thought you was a kind, honest, funny man ,but wow you was alot more than that .When ever I needed something you and mum was there,even when I had your 3 granddaughters you was the one to pick us up and bring us home ,they loved there grandad. You was a massive part of the whole families lifes, we wouldn't be were we are today if it wasnt for you. I want to say THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart, love and miss you to the best person I have ever met . Till we meet again dad , dont worry about mum were gonna look after her now promise xxxxxxxxx

Grandad, thank you for the laughs, the memories and always being right by my side whenever i needed you. Your smile is all i can picture when i think of you, me and the girls will miss that smile everyday but most of all, you. For 22 years you have filled my life with nothing but joy and i am so grateful for all of them years with you, i wish we had more... You were adamant you were going to win the lottery for me one day and take all my problems away you used to say. I will miss seeing your face when i bring a chippy round for your birthday tea and our days out at the seaside dragging you on all the big rides, I will miss the crackling sound of your vape whenever you are in the room; I will miss the little things the most. It’s not goodbye Grandad, it’s until we meet again. i will look after Nanny for you. i love you so much Big G x x

From laughing about Sarahs giblets on the floor to seeing your head pop over the fence, you never failed to have us all laughing. Smiles and laughter is how I will remember you RIP Dave, you are going to be so missed

You were the guy I called my dad. You were the one who did all the stuff dads do. You taught me to drive, those are the best memories, cruising around town with either Phil Collins or Robbie Williams blasting out and you getting road rage at people getting arsey with me because I was a learner. You did all the DIY stuff I needed doing around my house. You were the perfect guy. I am going to miss getting a text while I'm at work from you to tell me you'd cut my grass and walked the dog, I'm going to miss cooking for you and mum and seeing your head pop over the fence and I'm going to miss our chats and the laughs we had. Most of all though......I'm going to miss you. I Love you so much.....See you on the other side. Xxxx
